We'll cover some classic backstory tropes--why they're so easy to fall back on, and a variety of ways ranging from simple to complex to turn tropes to your advantage, or to come up with something entirely different without having to start from scratch. We'll also learn why it's useful to build your character into the world, what makes that hard, and why it can make for an amazing experience. |
