| Long Description | Most games can be used in the classroom; Luna Uni is made for it. Developed by a master ELA teacher and play-tested in high school and middle school classrooms, Luna Uni centers student agency and voice, letting students create their own worlds and characters. Rather than "winning," Luna Uni is about learning to craft compelling narratives. Using a writer's workshop model, students play "lore" sessions to edit stories and create their shared world, then "live" sessions for inspiration, speaking and presentation practice, and the surprise of random outcomes. Including pacing guides, lesson plans, assessment tools, video support and more, Luna Uni can help any educator shift writing from a struggle that feels punitive to a joyous, celebratory, creative process that brings students together to create a culture of collaborative learning. |
