| Long Description | When approached, facilitated, and debriefed intentionally, these games can become potential resources for building essential civic skills. In game, players have to work together while attempting to build and maintain ongoing consensus with one another, all while dealing with the differing motivations of party members and the challenge of outside threats or limited resources. This session hopes to start dialogue and collaboration around how TTRPGs can be leveraged as civic formation tools both inside and outside the classroom., as well as how game developers and GMs can help players make connections to the skills they build at the table and society. |
