Long DescriptionThe presenter will discuss his experience in using Twilight Struggle as an integral part of a course on law and the Cold War. He will give specific examples of how a game can make historical learning easier, force students to consider the structural and event-oriented aspects of a historical period, and bring students into discussions about the relationship between game rules and history. Applicable to high-school classrooms and above. The presenter will assume no familiarity with the game.
