| Short Description | Workshop with provide materials to teach techniques on how to add lace applique to garments. |
| Long Description | Participants will be provided with a kit to help them learn how to embellish existing garments with lace applique. The kit will include tools, a sewing needle, safety scissors, and different colored threads. It will also include several cuts of lace fabric and a piece of the base fabric to use as their test garment. I would also encourage participants to bring their own garments to embellish so they can walk out with a decorated item they can wear. However, the provided tools should help them develop the the skills to bring home to apply the lessons on other costumes. |
