| Short Description | Learn the basics of Kendo - the Japanese way of the sword! |
| Long Description | Join Sensei Masahiro Imafuji to learn some of the basics of Kendo. This will be interactive and include actual drills. You will learn with both the bokuto (wooden sword) and the shinai (split bamboo sword). Sensei Imafuji will also discuss history and swordsmanship. Finally, there will be a demonstration of shiai (fully armored sparring). All equipment will be provided. Money raised will benefit Gotokukan Dojo, a non-profit kendo dojo in Indianapolis. |
