| Long Description | Verdun is a competitive game that can be played by 2 or 4 players and features a trick-taking mechanic. The game is set in the World War I battlefields of Verdun, where players represent either the German army or the Allied army. It is a team game, where players must work together to ensure their team wins. In each turn, the teams take turns being the attacker, which mirrors the back-and-forth nature of the Verdun battles that involved a lot of casualties but achieved very little. |
