| Short Description | Paint eye-catching and dramatic models in a hurry! We will combine Army Painter Speedpaints with underpainting and volumetric highlighting to add a bit of impact to our speed-painted stormtroopers. |
| Long Description | Do you wish you could paint beautiful miniatures without spending all day at it? Maybe you're a painting expert but wish you could go faster, and you think 'the contrast effect' looks bad. Maybe you're comfortable with contrast paints but want to take your painting a bit further. In this class, sponsored by Atomic Mass Games, we will use time-saving products like Army Painter Speedpaints, but we will also cover how to elevate your paint job by focusing on specific areas of the model. We will begin with the topic of underpainting, and then discuss the concept of volumetric highlighting to prioritize which parts of your model actually need to look good, while letting the speed paints do the work elsewhere. Each student will be given a Stormtrooper miniature to practice on, and paints will be provided as well. Please bring your own brush(es), as I will not have enough for everyone. |
