| Long Description | Around the World Tree generations built a great wall to protect it from invaders. After that, a garrison. Later, a city turned kingdom. However, now the Tree grows ill, and the theocracy strives for the Tree’s release from stone walls. Which is why you have been selected not by age but ability for the Trial of the Wounded Root: your first challenge of which all before you have failed. Failed because they lacked cunning. Failed because they lacked foresight. Failed because they lacked courage. Failed, ultimately, because the World Tree deemed them unworthy. Are you worthy? Trial of the Wounded Root is an introductory adventure adaptable to younger audiences but has elements and scenes that may seem frightening and stressful to younger players. |
