| Short Description | A Regency game of love & wealth. Over the course of 3 Balls, players will mill and court one another, discussing financial and romantic interests. But will they find love? Or more importantly, riches? |
| Long Description | The Event of the Season is a silly Regency-themed social game at the messy intersection of love and wealth. Over the course of the game, players will gain Assets to accumulate their wealth, and then brag about that wealth at three Balls, during which players will leave the table and move around the surrounding areas to talk about their prospects and court their fellow players. At the end of the game, each player will write a letter of proposal to another player, and any matched pairs become married. The married couple (or individual) with the most wealth at the end of the game wins. The assets are silly, the Balls are riddled with goofy roleplay, and on the whole the game provides the experience of a season of Bridgerton written by Weird Al. A must-play for Regency enthusiasts, roleplay lovers, and anybody who likes to laugh. |
