| Short Description | The mage Gallack Verden has lost his apprentice, who tested himself against a horned devil and is now captured. Can you rescue the apprentice before the devil corrupts him to his own evil purposes? |
| Long Description | One of the city’s mages, Gallack Verden, has lost his favorite apprentice, Bartleby. Bartleby tried to summon a horned devil to do his will, but the devil proved to be too strong and absconded from the city to the nearby forest, with the screaming apprentice held in his claws. Gallack is participating in tense city negotiations and cannot retrieve Bartleby himself, which is why he is asking your party to defeat the devil and bring Bartleby back safe. Gallack is willing to provide you with magical items on your quest, as well as additional payment should you return Bartleby alive. Much is unknown about the devil, although reports of corruption and twisted magics in the forest have already reached Saskan. What the devil can do with a powerful, albeit untrained wizard is something that even Gallack fears... For 4 - 6 players at 8th level. Pregens will be provided. |
