| Long Description | Stardate 6924.9: The USS Ranger has been dispatched to scan an anomalous reading coming from a system inhabited by a pre-warp civilization known as the Rotari. The Rotari, while aware of the existence of space faring peoples, have segregated themselves away from galactic affairs due to their proximity to the Klingon, Federation, and Romulan neutral zones. However, their system has started to give off such high intensity subspace emissions as to attract just about every species in the quadrant to this location. If the Ranger cannot ascertain what is causing this beacon and shut it down, the Rotari are likely to find themselves in the middle of a galactic conflict that they are ill equipped to handle. |
