| Long Description | Noted running enthusiast, Cypress Creek, has held an unorthodox ultra-marathon known as the "Miranda Rally" annually since 1983. Based near his home in the Appalachian foothills, the marathon takes runners on a grueling 100 mile repeating trek through an off-the-beaten path set by Creek himself. The rally was cancelled last year after two runners turned up missing, but re-appeared a week later in a catatonic state. After a week in the hospital, both runners woke up in a state of extreme confusion and fear, claiming they "had to escape the red sky". Cyprus has stated that the disappearance of the two runners was due to bad weather and "an unfortunate turn on last year's run". Delta Green has decided to dispatch undercover agents to the marathon to determine if Cyprus Creek's woods hold a dark secret. |
