| Long Description | This adventure for 5th level characters takes place in the Historica Arcanum universe, where real history meets dark fantasy. The setting is the Republic of Venice in the early 16th century. The secrets of the glassmaking industry on the island of Murano are jealously guarded: there is no leaving the island without government permission, and anyone who is discovered selling secrets to a competing kingdom will be quickly silenced. Despite the danger of breaking Venice's rules, a prominent glassmaker is missing – and what he knows could shake the fragile balance of power in the Mediterranean. The adventurers are hired to find him and, if necessary, end him. Pregen characters will be provided, with story hooks to connect you quickly to the adventure. Also, in Historica Arcanum, powerful spells cause warps in Reality, creating potentially negative effects called Spell Rebound. |
