| Long Description | This adventure for 5th level characters takes place in the Historica Arcanum universe, where real history meets dark fantasy. The story blends real and imaginary locales in 13th century Southwest Asia. It is based on our “Empires of the Silk Road” and “Era of the Crusades” releases. 1204 CE: Constantinople has been sacked by the 4th Crusade. The fault lines of the region clamor and shake. The adventurers are tasked – for their own reasons or those of a superior – with finding the Lost Kingdom of Prester John, a fabled priest-king believed to wield indescribable magical power. His aid could tip the balance of power in the region…if he exists. Pregen characters will be provided with story hooks to connect you quickly to the adventure. Also, in the Historica Arcanum universe, powerful spells cause warps in Reality, creating potentially negative effects called Spell Rebound. |
