| Long Description | Blades in the Dark is a gritty, highly collaborative RPG where players become desperate scoundrels struggling to survive as a criminal gang in the haunted, industrial city of Doskvol. The system emphasizes cinematic action, improvisation, and consequences. Will your crew rise to power or succumb to enemies, the law, or their own vices? This 6-hour "one-shot" session features a brief world/rules intro, pre-gen character selection, an introductory 'score,' and brief 'downtime,' followed by a second 2-3 hour score. The game system empowers the GM to improvise scenarios based on player choices, shaping scores around the crew's goals. And so, after starting with the first scenario, 'A Murder of Crows,' your decisions will lead to an exciting, player-driven final score. |
