Players control a family in La Republica de los Bananos, each one trying to stash away as much money as possible while avoiding being assassinated or put in front of the firing squad. WARNING: This satirical game was first published in 1979 (although I am using the 2015 reissue) and certain stereotypes are depicted in the playing cards and pieces, however for me the game is not targeting a particular group, but rather the absurdity and dark humour involved in the overthrow of any corrupt government. |
