| Long Description | Welcome to Tend, where you’ll play as an interstellar pioneer sponsored by Zenith Corp. Your mission: build a thriving homestead on an alien world, filling your cargo with valuable goods to advance Zenith's research. Tend is a flip-and-scratch-and-roll-and tick-and-stamp-and-write game, which is a lot of verbs because there's a lot to do on an uncharted planet! Each turn, you’ll choose two task cards while all players work simultaneously to develop their homesteads. Earn your points by doing tasks such as going fishing, mining the mines, cultivating the farm, collecting badges and medals, completing season objectives, being the friendliest neighbor, and filling up your Cargo Manifest with valuable discoveries. After 12 seasons, the most productive pioneer earns Zenith’s highest honor, which is, for the record, definitely not evil. |
