| Long Description | Coming to Kickstarter Fall of 2026, FluentSea is a word-building, reef-restoration game where every word you make literally brings a bleached coral reef back to life. You build the best word you can each round, and the longer the word, the more marine species you get to place—like octopus, coral, clownfish, and schooling fish. Each species scores differently based on real behaviors, so clever wordplay and smart ecology both matter. Heal the reef, build the ecosystem, and score the most points to win. The game takes approximately 90 minutes to play including teach. Designed by David Gordon, Travis Magrum and Jonathan Glimour-Long with development by Leonie Grundler. Featuring ceramics and photography by Eline Melissen. |
