| Long Description | On your turn, you may place a character card face down, then everyone talks and votes whether it should go to the living altar or the dead altar. The catch is that each altar needs a different pattern, and the backs of the cards do not always tell the truth. Some powers let players peek at cards, while others hide information or replace helpful scrolls with traps. When the table thinks the pattern is ready, players can vote to begin the rite. If the cards match, the side that called it wins. If the cards are wrong, that side loses. But waiting is dangerous too: once the ninth character appears, the infiltrators win automatically. This is a game of timing, suspicion, and table talk, where you may need to share a clue, hold back a secret, or convince everyone that the wrong moment is the right one. |
