| Long Description | In order to be accepted into the prestigious ATIC Guard, Alana Toro is set a final challenge: prevent a terrorist attack that threatens the popularity of a newly elected ATIC-supported politician. In a simulation of space bar The Forge, every innocent death resets the programme, and Alana starts again. Every death teaches her something new about the case, but a simulation though it is, it doesn’t stop it taking an emotional toll. As she progresses, she becomes increasingly skeptical about ATIC, the organisation she so longed to be a part of. She begins to find sympathy for her enemies, but Alana is accountable to ATIC, and ATIC’s view of who is loyal is not so nuanced. Even once Alana finds the solution, will she be prepared to enact it? |
