| Long Description | Joy to You is a game of social/political intrigue and decadent desires set in the rich world of Terre d’Ange prior to the events of Kushiel’s Dart. Cereus House is holding its annual Midwinter Masque and the Court of Night-Blooming Flowers and those special patrons are in attendance. Drama, secrets, and social politics unfold as players dance, gossip, and rendezvous. Will you play a House adept of Cereus, Jasmine, Alyssum, Gentian, or Orchis? Or perhaps you might play as a patron? Familiarity with the source material is not required. Costuming is highly encouraged. Content warnings include sex work, sexual content, romance, power dynamics, pregnancy, social bullying, rivalries, and setting specific religious themes.
