| Long Description | Join ImpendingDuff (Neil Duffey) for an introduction to the essential principles of light in miniature painting. Learn how to establish a light source, understand ambient lighting, and apply paint to create depth and storytelling through contrast. A miniature and paints will be provided. I will have basic brushes for you to use, but students are encouraged to bring a size 2 brush they are comfortable with. This class offers a clear, approachable foundation for painters looking to improve realism and atmosphere in their work. (This class can be used as a prerequisite for my Object Source Lighting class on Saturday at 6pm) |
