Short DescriptionFood production is currently unable to fully meet the enclave’s needs, but quality fertilizers could potentially push the crop yields far enough that the enclave could produce all its own needs.
Long DescriptionWith modern advancements allowing aeroponic and hydroponics to be grown year-round, the need for fertilizing material has only increased. Especially now that there’s no more commercial access to manufactured fertilizer. Luckily a nearby cave system that was formerly part of the State Parks of the region was home to a gargantuan bat colony. Bat guano is a natural antifungal substance that is high in saltpeter making it an excellent and organic fertilizer. All that’s needed to turn a profit here is a strong set of backs, a few shovels, and sacks.
