| Long Description | Captain’s Log, Stardate 49202.2. Our layover at Deep Space 9 is coming to an end. With the new sensor upgrades installed and engines and shields at peak efficiency with the assistance of Chief Miles O’Brien’s crack staff, we are ready to begin our twelve-week survey in the Gamma Quadrant. Though my briefings on the station have given me concerns about the threat posed by the Dominion, we will do our best to avoid coming near their territory. After all, a vast amount of the Gamma Quadrant remains completely unknown. We may still find new friends on that side of the Galaxy, not only adversaries. |
