Under the guidance of a mysterious Director, the Duke hoped for the quick recovery of his daughter, who possessed an attitude that was too rebellious and unseemly for a young noblewoman. After the first month, Alissa’s letters to her family became more and more terrified and delusional, until they abruptly ceased.
