| Long Description | Variations is a roleplay and puzzle game based on musical cryptography. Players will take on the roles of traveling musicians solving a mystery in a parallel of our own world where music has the power to awaken the heavenly and the monstrous. These musicians will investigate the cause of a supernatural manifestation and what can be done to restore harmony. Players of Variations will be asked to wear wireless headphones at points during the game to hear audio tracks related to the game's mechanics. For this reason, we ask that all players be comfortable wearing adult-sized headphones and have sufficient hearing ability to distinguish between musical pitches (higher vs. lower sounds). Headphones will be sterilized between game sessions. |
