| Long Description | Long, long ago, we saw life stirring in the depths of the primordial sea. It was vulgar by nature, mindlessly acquisitive. As time passed, we saw it grow hungry, and eventually, desperate. So, we split the waters of heaven from the waters of earth. Thus, the firmament was born. It must not fail us now. The Firmament is a new tarot-based, GM-less cooperative roleplaying game for a 1-3 hour session of play, solo or with up to 7 players. It's inspired by kabbalah, cosmology of the ancient Near East, Baroque (1998), and Angel's Egg (1985). Take the role of a denizen of Heaven and descend through the labyrinth that separates Heaven from earth. Stop four factions of ravenous humans from breaching the Chambers of Heaven, lest they disturb the unfathomable power that dwells there. |
