| Long Description | Runecaster is a narrative game where you think creatively about magic and science in order to create engaging narratives. Players are mages who make magic through scribing combinations of nine flexible runes. Players explain and creatively determine what the intent of each spell is based on their interpretation of the runes and how they might combine. Magic is also tied to both analytical reason and emotional expression. Magic is full of unintended consequences and new discoveries. Runecaster is a dice optional system that uses narrative guides to decide outcomes. |
