| Long Description | The lecherous noblewoman at the heart of the play is clearly a barely disguised Alfrietta Bellephine, an otherwise highly regarded fixture of Grandhurst society. The unspoken secret of her dalliances with the help is now quite well enunciated, and the entire family is frothing at the mouth to see the playhouse shuttered for this indignity. Her son Rodgar, full of pep and vim, went to the playhouse to confront the playwright, but disappeared somewhere between the grand petals of its front door and the eccentric auteur's office. Bellephines cry murder, and the morbid curiosity of the city is piqued: and tonight's performance is now set to be its last. Someone needs to solve this mystery, and it is up to you, the amateur sleuths of the Society of Invested Citizens! |
