| Long Description | Legal sets for this tournament are Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Black Star promos 1-15 (excluding promo #11). Reprints are allowed as long as the rules text is identical (for example, a Charizard from Base set 2, Legendary Collection, or Celebrations would be legal but the Charizard from XY Evolutions would not as its HP is different). Proxies are not allowed. Games will be played following the rulebook from that era, which means the rules are slightly different from the modern game! For example, the starting coin flip occurs after setup and the player going first may attack. A rulebook will be on-hand if there are any rule questions. Organizer rulings are final. The tournament will be four Swiss rounds. Each round will be 40 minutes best of one. |
