| Short Description | Basic logical processes, and higher level reasoning, are integral to board games. Come play Shipwreck Arcana and discuss how it and other games could be used in the classroom. |
| Long Description | Educator & Librarian Track: Participants will engage in hands-on gameplay to experience how players must synthesize hidden information, evaluate mathematical probabilities, and use higher-level reasoning to solve complex puzzles. The session will include a collaborative discussion on how to effectively integrate these mechanics into an educational setting. We will examine how the game’s deductive loops map to educational standards, foster peer-to-peer communication, and build critical thinking resilience. Participants will leave with practical strategies for using analog games in teaching students. |
